Johnnie Matthews

Johnnie Matthews began his professional career early, starting a band in high school that later signed to Atlantic Records. He has served as Chief Marketing Officer for a large multistate franchise group, led marketing teams for the Department of Defense, and helped launch a successful branding agency.
DERRICK BOATWRIGHT
PRINCIPAL
Derrick Boatwright brings 25 years of diverse experience to Heritage Brands, with expertise in sales, operations, eCommerce, web design, and marketing. Most recently, he served as the Director of Marketing & Commercial Innovation, where he led a global team to develop and execute dynamic marketing strategies.
Derrick excels in systems building, problem solving, agency management, and talent development. His entrepreneurial experience in web development, videography, and photography further enhances his versatile skill set. At Heritage Brands, Derrick’s data-driven and strategic approach drives innovative solutions and substantial revenue growth for our clients.
Franklin McGuire, Jr.
Founder
Franklin’s journey into executive visibility began when a leading public figure approached him for help crafting a digital persona and online reputation in advance of a major election. The project was a success, and Heritage Brands was born.
Franklin is a veteran of the US Army, with extensive experience in leadership, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship. He graduated first in his class from The Citadel, and is currently completing a JD/MBA from the University of South Carolina.
